The wine has delicate notes of confit red forest berries, cherries, savoury herbal notes and hints of candied orange zest. On the palate the wine is juicy, finely structured, delicate saline mineral notes and subtle red berries on the finish.
This wine shows wisteria, cantaloupe, and marzipan, with a clear citrus note. Hydrocarbon hints pop up to follow on the nose. This wine is complex with a firm texture, minerality, yet a vibrant acidity. It opens up on the palate with peach, passion fruit, and papaya notes. The oak is well integrated; the finish is crisp and lingering.
Elegant and intense on the nose with notes of fresh mature red fruit, such as cherry and currant on the palate the wine is harmonious, with good structure and roundness, with a beautiful savoury finish.
Raventós Blanc de Blancs is a blend of the three white grape varieties: Xarel·lo, Macabeu, and Parellada, sourced from the vineyard Vinya del Llac. The vineyard faces north, and the soil consists of stony clay. A small portion of Malvasia from Sitges is now also included to give the wine additional acidity and complexity. This sparkling wine is produced using the traditional method, which means the second fermentation takes place in the bottle.
The wine is brilliant and pale yellow with notes of citrus, grapefruit, and ripe yellow fruit. On the palate this wine is ample, rich and fruity with good acidicty and ripe fruit.
